Friday, November 8, 2002 Windows XP Pro is the update of my Windows XP Trillian 0.7x skin. It includes all Trillian Pro features and updates. In case you're wondering how I'm updating my skins, I wasn't planning on getting Trillian Pro, but thanks to a very nice person, I now have it. All my Trillian 0.7x skins will be updated for Trillian Pro, and then I will continue fixing all the bugs in my remaining skins. After that, I will begin work on Synthetica and LCARS. And then, hopefully, I can start on some new skins I've been meaning to do for a long, long time. |

This skin's Trillian Bars are similar to the one in Windows ME SP1, but includes two instead of one, to be adaptable to your icon size options. |

It also includes a lot of new features, including a totally new Trillian Bar concept: the Trillian Explorer Bar. Tuesday, September
10,
2002 Cerulean Studios has released Trillian Pro 1.0 and Trillian 0.74. Trillian Pro is the new premium version which boasts a hundred new features. It stands at a cost of $25 USD for a year's worth of updates, tech support, and members only access. As an alternative for those unable to pay, CS is keeping Trillian 0.74 absolutely free with no ads, spy ware, or usage limitations. For those wondering, I will not be upgrading to Trillian Pro, but will be sticking with 0.74. All 0.7x skins are fully compatible with the new Trillian Pro, so you may continue to use the skins. CommPort Enterprises will still be developing new skins, specifically made for Trillian 0.74, but also compatible with Trillian Pro. |

Saturday, April 6,
2002 I'd like to go into further detail on why all of my Trillian and SoriTong skins aren't available on CE yet. First, for Trillian. With the release of Trillian 0.70, the entire skinning language was re-written, rendering the old skins inoperable. I'm working as fast as I can to update the old skins to work with the new Trillian, but its a long and timely process. I estimate the completion of all updates to be done sometime around June. I'm also working on some new skins, so watch out for those. Secondly, to explain the absence of the SoriTong skins. Before I got certain upgrades to my computer, to conserve resources, I was running my display at 16 bit color. While the skins looked fine on my screen, I had not taken into account the quality degradation that would occur on standard 24 or 32 bit color settings. So I am redoing the skins to look good on higher bit rate displays. This won't take too long, and they should be out soon. I apologize if this has caused you any inconvenience. |

Friday, April 5, 2002 Today the CommPort Enterprises website was officially launched. I felt it was necessary for a separate website to reflect the other websites I've done. But I didn't want to remove the CommPort's web-presence, so I decided to integrate The CommPort into CE to create an alternate interface. So from now on, you can choose which UI you want to use. Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to your comments. Look out for more websites and skins from CommPort Enterprises. |
